Welcome to Sustain Nutrition!
Welcome to my blog! I first started blogging in the early 2000s, as an undergrad at Western University. Those were some fun and amazing years of learning, becoming independent, finding myself, meeting my husband, and being in a wonderful learning environment. The blog was a peek into my daily life, and a great tool to express myself, and frankly, practice my writing skills.
I am hoping that this blog will be a space to share about relevant nutrition topics, and document some of the highs and lows of family nutrition, be it in my own family or what I see in practice. My kids bring me so much joy, laughter, love, but the struggles are real. How do I protect my child when they have a severe anaphylactic food allergy? Why is this child so picky? Why are they underweight, and how do I get them to put on weight? Is this becoming a feeding aversion? Will it always be such a meal time fight? These are some of the issues I’ve faced, and very common in every family’s experience at some point. From years of clinical practice, to real-life hands on experience, I am here to join you in your health journey.
